ARC dismisses concerns over Rain valuation

African Rainbow Capital (ARC) has dismissed concerns that its ZAR 12.2 billion valuation for mobile operator Rain is too high, reports MyBroadband. ARC told MyBroadband it considers its approach to valuing its investing in Rain to be "very conservative". The investor said it used a discounted cash flow model with a discount rate of 16.4 percent to value Rain.
