Arcep issues 2.6GHz licences, 800MHz deadline is 15 December

French telecom regulator Arcep has issued 2.6GHz spectrum licences for Metropolitan France to the country's four mobile LTE licence holders. ARCEP determined the operators' positioning within the 2.6GHz band based on the preferences expressed by each, in accordance with the rules governing the call for applications. The resulting layout of the 2.6GHz frequency band is as follows: SFR 2500-2515 and 2620-2635MHz, Orange France 2515-2535 and 2635-2655MHz, Bouygues Telecom 2535-2550 and 2655-2670MHz and Free Mobile 2550-2570 and 2670-2690MHz.
