Arcep opens 2.6 GHz TDD spectrum award for LTE-based PMR networks

Friday 10 May 2019 | 12:54 CET | News
French regulator Arcep has moved ahead with the decision to allocate 40 MHz of spectrum in the 2.6 GHz TDD band, in line with the award procedure published in April. This is to enable the transition to LTE for professional mobile radio (PMR) networks that still rely on 2G. Interested parties are invited to apply for an authorisation, in what will be a single allocation window with a yet to be defined end date.
