Arcep receives two more applications for regional licences under fixed LTE initiative

The French departments of Aude and Eure-et-Loir have become the latest applicants to have filed a request to use the 3.5 GHz band under Arcep's fixed LTE initiative. Unveiled at the end of 2017, the release of 3.5 GHz spectrum for fixed LTE services is part of the government's efforts to improve the availability of faster internet access in under-served areas.
