Arcep to issue new authorisations for fixed LTE services in 3.5 GHz band in early 2018

French regulator Arcep published a document detailing the allocation process for spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band (3410 - 3460 MHz), following a consultation published in July. The release of further spectrum allocated to fixed LTE services aims to support the government's objective to improve the availability of faster internet access in under-served areas by 2020. The allocation process will begin on the day that Arcep's decision 2017-1081 is published by the government in the Official Journal.
