ARD, ASO extend Tour de France broadcasting contract

German public broadcaster ARD has once again secured the rights to broadcast the Tour De France under a deal struck by its agency SportA with the Amaury Sport Organization (ASO). Under the deal, the existing carriage agreement has been extended for two years giving ARD rights to live broadcasts of the Tour. From 01 July to 23 July, ARD will offer daily live coverage between 16:00 hrs and 17:30 hrs, with additional coverage at weekends. The Tour will also be streamed live online at sportschau.de.
