Thursday 17 September 2015 | 10:32 CET | News
German broadcaster ARD is due to change from DVB-T to DVB-T2 from 2017, dslweb.de reports. The old standard will be completely replaced by 2019 at the latest, which is one year earlier than initially anticipated. Due to the early switch, the 700 MHz band will become vacant from mid-2019 for mobile networks.
