Argentina speeds up, streamlines mobile number portability

Argentina's Ministry of Communications (Secom) has made changes to the mobile number portability process, to make it faster and more transparent. Among the changes introduced through resolution 21/2013, which was published this week in the Official Gazette, are a reduction in the processing time to no more than five working days, compared with ten originally, reports daily Cronista. In a statement, the ministry said that from now on, there will be a single electronic form for all companies, in order to ensure that the process is more transparent and secure.
