Argentina's ArSat appoints new board

Argentine state-run telecoms operator ArSat has elected its new board, Telesemana report. New board members include Matías Bianchi Villelli, Guillermo Rus, Marcelo Tesoro, Hugo Iván Coustau and Fernando Pérez Vacchini. ArSat was created in 2006 to manage the country's satellite project. ArSat is also in charge of several connectivity initiatives across the country, including Argentina Conectada, which stipulates the deployment of fibre optic infrastructure across the country.
