Argentina's Arsat looking to enter Brazilian market

Argentinian state-owned satellite operator Arsat is looking to apply for landing rights to sell services from its Arsat-2 satellite in Brazil, reports tech website iProfesional, citing Arsat president Rodrigo de Loredo. However, satellite operators cannot obtain landing rights in Brazil without first setting up as companies in the country and paying a fee set by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). "Arsat is betting on the future and has great expectations of finding new global partners with a view to strengthening its position as a prestigious satellite operator," said De Loredo
