Argentina's state-owned communications operator Arsat has announced a deal to connect hospitals in the northern Jujuy province via VSat antennas. The e-health agreement will allow patients to receive remote medical counselling from doctors at the Garraham Hospital, with health centres and hospitals in San Salvador, Tilcara, Huacalera Tilcara, La Quiaca and Abra Pampa also connected to Arsat's network. The deal is part of the government's national telemedicine pediatric programme, with all VSat antennas connecting to the Arsat-1 satellite.
