Argentina's Cablevision Q2 sales rise 53.5%

Argentina's leading pay-TV and broadband provider Cablevision reported a 53.5 percent jump in revenues over the second quarter from a year earlier to ARS 7.2 billion, thanks to growth in both subscribers and ARPU as well as the takeover of mobile operator Nextel. Adjusted EBITDA rose 48.9 percent to ARS 2.6 billion, driven by increased sales in both pay TV and broadband.
