Argentina's total investment in telecommunications infrastructure is on course to increase by at least 25 percent this year, matching last year's rise, according to unnamed communications ministry sources cited by news agency Telam. In 2015, the country's operators invested a total of ARS 20.16 billion, a quarter more than the previous year and five times more than the ARS 4.38 billion invested in 2012. Around ARS 9.67 billion was invested in network infrastructure last year, with ARS 8.32 billion allocated to licences and ARS 2.17 billion to other areas.
