Ariane to launch 2 Intelsat satellites 24 August

Arianespace announced that preparations for the next Ariane 5 mission are now in full swing, with the launch of two satellites for Intelsat scheduled for 24 August. The pre-launch activities are underway at the Spaceport in French Guiana. Intelsat 33e, produced by Boeing Space Systems, is the second spacecraft of the next-generation Intelsat EpicNG series and integrates one of the most advanced digital payloads available commercially today, Arianespace said.
