Arianespace launches 2 satellites for LatAm, APAC operators

Arianespace successfully launched two satellites, namely Star One D1 for Latin America satellite operator Embratel Star One, and JCSAT-15 for Asia-Pacific satellite operator SKY Perfect JSAT. The launch took place on 21 December, 2016 at 17:30hrs (local time) from the Guiana Space Center, Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. This was the 11th and final launch of the year for Arianespace, the seventh with Ariane 5 in 2016, as well as the heavy-lift launcher's 76th consecutive success and its 90th launch overall.
