Arianespace to launch new Argentina satellite in 2019

Thursday 1 October 2015 | 15:14 CET | News
European satellite launch company Arianespace has signed a new contract with Argentina's state-owned satellite operator Arsat to launch its next geostationary satellite, the Arsat-3. The long-term agreement was signed a few hours before the successful launch of Arsat-2 and follows last year's launch of Arsat-1. It will cover Argentina's satellite launch requirements until 2023, said the partners, starting with the launch of Arsat-3 in 2019 and including options on two more geostationary satellites with launches planned for 2020 to 2023.
