Arista stopped using some Cisco patented technology - ITC

Thursday 22 June 2017 | 13:08 CET | News
Arista is no longer using the Cisco SysDB patented technology in its redesigned products, the ITC told Cisco, after it made the initial determination. The ITC last year ruled that Arista was infringing Cisco patents with this technology, in its "944 Investigation". A judge still has to finalise the ruling. Cisco said that it wants Arista to stop using its IP and the involved Cisco patent. Until the final ruling, ITC is allowing the import of Arista's redesigned products.
