Arris lowers guidance for Q2, weakened by strong US dollar

Arris has lowered its guidance for the second quarter, with stronger than expected headwinds set to impact the company throughout the second half. CEO Bob Stanzione said the business continues to be hit by external factors, most notably the various pending industry consolidations and the strengthening US dollar. The Pace acquisition will help counter some of the negative effects, providing synergies and a more diversified customer base and product portfolio.
