ArSat completes verification process of ArSat-1 satellite

State-owned company Argentina Satelital's (ArSat) Arsat-1 satellite has completed its verification process and is ready to be launched, ANB reports. The Arsat-1 geostationary telecommunications satellite has been fully designed and manufactured in Argentina by local company Invap. The satellite will provide telephone and data transmission, internet access, IP telephony, and DTH services to users across Argentina and the Southern cone. The aircraft is expected to be launched by French firm Arianespace from French Guyana in September
