Tuesday 17 March 2015 | 15:17 CET | News
Argentine state-run telecoms operator ArSat has signed an agreement with the government of the city of Necochea, Buenos Aires province, to install a DTT aerial. Argentina expects to reach 120 DTT aerials by 2016, according to a previous report. Current DTT coverage is provided through a total of 82 DTT stations nationwide, which provides coverage in over 150 cities and localities across the country. The government has been distributing digital TV decoders among low-income segments over the last years.
