ASA confirms new rules for broadband speed claims

The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has announced a major change to the way broadband speed claims can be advertised. As a result, numerical broadband speed claims in ads should be based on the download speed available to at least 50 percent of customers at peak time, and should be described as 'average' speeds.
