AT&S to invest EUR 500 mln in new R&D centre for semiconductor industry

Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (AT&S) said it will invest EUR 500 million by 2025 in a new R&D centre for substrate and packaging systems for the global semiconductor industry at its location in Leoben-Hinterberg. The figure includes previously announced investments in upgrading technology and in a new office building. AT&S will carry out another technology upgrade at its production facilities, too.
