AT&T again planning to lay off workers - report

AT&T is again planning layoffs, Motherboard reported, citing internal documents, though it did not specifiy how many jobs would be affected. Sources at AT&T says the company is preparing a "geographic rationalization" and employment "surplus" reduction that will consolidate certain AT&T operations in 10 major operational hubs in New York, California, Texas, New Jersey, Washington State, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, and Washington, DC. A company spokesperson has confirmed AT&T will be "adjusting" its workforce but that this would only impact a very small portion of the company's
