AT&T, America Movil close to reaching tower deal - report

AT&T is working on an agreement to rent wireless towers from Telesites, the recently spun off Mexican towers business of America Movil, according to unnamed sources cited by Bloomberg. A deal would give AT&T access to the most widespread network in Mexico with about 10,800 towers, helping the company fulfil its plans to become the first cross-border service provider in North America following its purchase of Nextel Mexico and Iusacell earlier this year. "Our priority is to begin work to expand our network and enhance our mobile internet offering," AT&T spokesman Fletcher Cook told Bloomberg,
