AT&T and Sprint settle dispute over 'misleading' 5G E logo

US operators AT&T and Sprint have reached a settlement over AT&T's "5G Evolution" branding after Sprint filed a lawsuit claiming the logo was "blatantly misleading", reports The Verge citing an earlier story in the Dallas Business Journal. The deal comes after Sprint claimed that AT&T was using the "5G E" logo to mislead customers into believing its 4G LTE network was a fully-fledged 5G network. "We have amicably settled this matter," an AT&T spokesperson told the Dallas Business Journal, with both operators subsequently confirming the statement to The Verge without providing any further
