AT&T exec meets with Mexican regulatory authorities

AT&T's strategy director John Stankey had a meeting with regulatory authorities in Mexico, including the country's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) president Gabriel Conterras. El Financiero reports. According to the report, several issues including the new telecoms reform, were analysed during the meeting. Stankey recently said that AT&T was studying the possibility to enter the Mexican market. AT&T is among the firms which may acquire America Movil's assets in certain regions of the country.
