AT&T, IBM develop water monitoring system

AT&T, IBM and Mueller Water Products have developed a new system to help cities save water. AT&T made the announcement, saying the system uses Internet of Things (IoT) technology that can be installed quickly to help cities manage water and prevent leaks. Cities can get information on the condition of their fire hydrants, underground pipes, and drainage systems which have been difficult to monitor in the past.
