AT&T, IBM to launch single-source network security service

AT&T and IBM have signed a partnership to provide businesses with a new single-source service combining a secure network infrastructure with advanced threat monitoring, and analytics. The companies will develop a service to help companies fight cyber threats and to bring down the costs and complexity of security management across IT environments. The service will provide a mix of on-premise and next-generation cloud-managed security capabilities, including features from both AT&T and IBM. AT&T's Network Security Infrastructure and Managed Security Services will give a network-based firewall,
