AT&T launches LTE-M Button with AWS

Thursday 17 May 2018 | 16:15 CET | News
AT&T announced that its LTE-M Button is now available on its IoT marketplace. Developed with Amazon Web Services' IoT 1-Click service, the button can be attached to connected devices to trigger specific actions in the cloud. AT&T said this could include services such as instant customer feedback at hotel conference rooms, airports and sports venues; placing orders remotely while on the go; automatic alerts for items such as full rubbish bins or oil containers; or an alarm button for seniors to contact caregivers.
