AT&T launches managed security functions for 5G deployments

AT&T said it's introducing managed advanced security functionalities for 5G network deployments. The first security functionality launching is a managed firewall service to support AT&T 5G edge computing network products. This service provides functionalities for threat visibility, prevention of advanced attacks at the application layer, and security policy enforcement, specifically for 5G-enabled IoT, OT and IT use cases.
