AT&T Mexico expands 4G network to 70 mln people, 144 cities

AT&T Mexico has announced that its 4G network now covers more than 70 million people in 144 cities across the country, up from 42 cities in April. In a statement, the operator said it has carried out an aggressive 4G rollout since July 2015, building a multi-technology network in each cell site with LTE and radios covering the complete licensed spectrum. The service is now available in major cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Monterrey and Nuevo Leon, with AT&T pledging to reach 100 million people by the end of 2018. It also wants to create the first-ever North American mobile
