AT&T Mexico halves user complaints - CEO

Monday 27 June 2016 | 16:02 CET | News
AT&T has managed to reduce the number of complaints submitted by its Mexican users to consumer protection agency Profeco by as much as 50 percent, according to AT&T Mexico CEO Thaddeus Arroyo. Speaking to local daily El Universal, Arroyo said the operator Iusacell led the customer complaint rankings before it was acquired by AT&T last year. However, the company has since worked with Profeco to implement a number of customer-focused initiatives and has significantly improved its mobile network, said Arroyo, adding that AT&T's 4G service now reaches 55 million people in 56 Mexican cities.
