AT&T Mexico revenues up 8% on prepaid growth in Q1

Wednesday 22 April 2020 | 14:23 CET | News
AT&T Mexico reported revenues of USD 703 million in the first quarter of 2020, up 8.0 percent compared to the year-earlier result thanks mainly to higher equipment and service revenues. The latter were up 5.7 percent year on year to USD 467 million driven by prepaid subscriber growth, offsetting continuing postpay losses. AT&T also managed to reduce its operating loss in Mexico to USD 145 million from USD 205 million in the year-earlier quarter and posted negative EBITDA of USD 11 million compared to a loss of USD 74 million in Q1 2019.
