AT&T Mexico sales growth slows to 2% in Q3, adds 907,000 clients

Wednesday 24 October 2018 | 13:59 CET | News
AT&T Mexico reported revenues up 2.3 percent year on year on a comparable basis to USD 731 million in the third quarter of 2018, as subscriber growth and better equipment sales offset the company's competitive pricing strategy and higher depreciation. Service revenues were again down around USD 70 million year on year due to a USD 100 million impact from the shutdown of a wholesale business in the fourth quarter of 2017, while the third-quarter operating loss widened to USD 244 million compared to a loss of USD 224 million a year earlier due to continued investment in customer acquisition.
