AT&T Mexico sales up 10% YoY in Q1 as subs grow 37%

AT&T Mexico reported revenues up 9.5 percent to MXN 588 million in the first quarter, largely due to a continued subscriber growth, offset by competitive pressures and foreign exchange effects. The operator added a total of 130,000 postpaid subscribers and 517,000 prepaid subscribers to reach a total customer base of 12.6 million in Mexico, a 37 percent increase from a year ago. The company's 4G network increased its coverage to around 85 million at the end of the quarter and remains on target to reach 100 million by the end of 2018.
