AT&T Mexico to launch 4G, Wi-Fi in San Miguel de Allende

AT&T Mexico has announced an agreement to roll out a 4G, fibre-optic and public Wi-Fi network in the popular tourist resort of San Miguel de Allende in central Mexico. Under the terms of the deal with the city council of the Unesco World Heritage Site, AT&T will extend its 4G network to many parts of San Miguel de Allende and set up a free Wi-Fi service in the city's public squares and parks, boosting the tourism and education sectors above all and benefiting some 600,000 visitors to the city and 172,000 local residents.
