AT&T Midwest, Legacy contracts expire with no progress yet - CWA

The contracts of 14,000 unions members at AT&T have expired, with no new deal between the members and the carrier, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) said. The contracts were for workers at AT&T Midwest and AT&T Legacy T, part of CWA. The union said its will continue working even though their contracts have expired but that workers are prepared to go on strike if no progress is made at the bargaining table. The union again called for AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson to make good on the promises he made to his employees when the US was considering the corporate tax reform.
