AT&T pushes ahead with network virtualisation, 5G expansion

AT&T said it's pushing ahead with its network upgrade and expansion plans, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The US operator still expects to hit its goals of 75 percent of the network using SDN and automation this year, nationwide 5G coverage this summer and a roll-out of 400G on the transport network.
