AT&T revenues rise 3.8% in Q4

AT&T reported fourth-quarter revenues of USD 34.4 billion, up 3.8 percent from the prior year. The company moved to an operating loss of USD 5.6 billion compared to operating income of USD 12.2 billion, due to a number of one-time charges signaled earlier, mainly for pension costs. On an adjusted basis, operating income declined to USD 4.9 billion from USD 5.2 billion, and the operating income margin was 14.2 percent, down from 15.5 percent. Adjusted EPS rose to USD 0.55 from USD 0.53 in Q4 2013.
