AT&T says fibre expansion still on track

AT&T said it will continue with the expansion of its high-speed broadband services, but any additional projects are on hold pending the outcome of the net neutrality regulation in the US. The FCC had questioned the company on its plans after comments from the operator that it could suspend new investment due to the threat of stricter net neutrality rules. In response to the FCC, AT&T said it was going ahead with the commitment given when it announced plans to acquire DirecTV. The company still plans to complete the initiative announced in April to expand its GigaPower fibre network in 25
