AT&T spends USD 1.2 billion to double 39 GHz spectrum holdings

AT&T announced it has doubled its spectrum holdings in the 39 GHz band in the latest auction in the US. The company spent about USD 2.4 billion in the auction, or USD 1.2 billion net of its vouchers, and acquired licences covering 99 percent of the population.
