AT&T starts new USD 200 mln investment fund for ONAP

AT&T said it will put up to USD 200 million into a venture capital fund with the Coral Group and its Communications Industry Platform (CIP) team. The fund will identify and invest in start-up companies with a focus on connected services and platforms, and in technologies that run on the Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP), an operating system for software-defined networks. AT&T and Coral said they will identify additional companies to invest in the fund.
