AT&T to conduct 3.5 GHz tests in Washington with Ericsson

AT&T Services asked FCC for a Special Temporary Authority (STA) to conduct 5G tests in Washington D.C. using experimental equipment in the 3.5 GHz band, writes FierceWireless. The tests will be held for one month from 1 February, 2018 and will use equipment from Ericsson. AT&T said it'll use the pieces of important information obtained from the demonstrations for future standards and system optimisations.
