AT&T to use 700 MHz spectrum for LTE broadcast network

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said that it would use the 700 MHz Lower D and E Block licenses acquired from Qualcomm to launch an LTE broadcast network in the US, reports Fierce Wireless. Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference, Stephenson said that it would look to combine the former Qualcomm spectrum with other spectrum bands, as it focused on developing networks to deliver video over the next three years.
