AT&T, Verizon provide relief to customers affected by Alaska earthquake

AT&T and Verizon are providing various benefits to customers affected by the earthquake that recently shook Alaska. AT&T is automatically issuing credits and waiving additional charges from 30 November through 4 December to provide unlimited talk, text and data access for AT&T wireless and AT&T Prepaid customers in Alaska. Verizon Wireless is providing free calling, texting and data to its postpaid and prepaid customers who reside in areas most impacted by the earthquake through 7 December. All Verizon retail stores in Anchorage reopened on 1 December.
