AT&T, Verizon to sell first 'holographic' smartphone

Friday 18 May 2018 | 09:55 CET | News
AT&T and Verizon have announced plans to begin selling the Red Hydrogen One smartphone, billed as the world's first "holographic" handset, later on this summer. The operators haven't revealed pricing but AT&T said it would demo the device before it is released to the public at its AT&T Shape event in Los Angeles on 02-03 June. It described device developed by camera producer Red as a "revolutionary" smartphone that will allow users to "look around, below and into" the screen's image with "a 4-view holographic display, which is even better than 3D."
