AT&T's LTE-M network powers Bodyport's remote monitoring platform

AT&T's LTE-M network is powering a remote monitoring platform created by Bodyport, an SF-based HealthTech company. The new smart scale can help detect early signs of heart disease and is currently in clinical trials at leading hospitals. The platform uses the AT&T LTE-M network to enable the transmission of multiple biomarkers of cardiovascular function to a remote care team, who can determine in near real-time patient risk and status. In addition, AT&T announced it's expanding its DirecTV for Business offering for healthcare.
