ATC authorises new USD 2 billion share buyback

American Tower Corp announced that its board of directors has authorised a new share buyback programme worth up to USD 2.0 billion. The company has only USD 345 million remaining on its  existing stock repurchase program approved in March 2011. 

The company also declared its quarterly cash distribution of USD 0.70 per share. The distribution is payable on 16 January 2018 to stockholders of record on 28 December.
