ATH 6-month revenue grows 3%, profit declines on currency depreciation

Fiji operator Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH) saw its sales revenue grow by 3 percent year-on-year to FJD 322.7 million for the half-year ended 30 September 2021. Net profit before tax reached FJD 35 million down from FJD 44.1 million in the year-earlier period. In addition, the ATH posted a profit after income tax of FJD 13.35 million. The decrease is due to the USD currency against Fijian dollar, ATH said.
