Atis launches emergency location task force

Friday 9 January 2015 | 15:54 CET | News
Technology and services development company Atis established a new Emergency Location Task Force (ELOC) to provide the products needed to improve the location accuracy for wireless 9-1-1 calls. The Eloc was formed to support standards development goals established in the roadmap contained in the voluntary agreement signed on 14 November by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International, the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), and wireless carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.
